About Us The idea for a shop totally devoted to "Tintin" started here at 34 Floral St. Covent Garden, London in 1984. In those early days the merchandise was very limited; greetings cards, postcards, posters, plastic figures and of course the books.
It was the books which were the main inspiration, to have one place where you could find the complete collection of the advendture albums. Number 34 Floral Street did just that and soon the product range expanded, bringing the the drawings of Hergé into our every day lives through such items as watches, stationary and crockery.
Today you can find limited edition models in resin and metal as well as a glorious collection of die cast model cars bringin to life Hergé's evident appreciation of all vehicles.
The shop remains today the first stop for anything to do with Tintin. The Tintin Shop website strives to reflect the experience of visiting number 34 Floral Street.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. Shipping And Handling All UK packages are sent Royal Mail first class, we use DHL when the packages are over 2 kilos. For overseas shipping, the cost is calculated by the volumetric or actual weight which ever is the greater and the content of the order. We use Royal Mail, if you require a courier service please let us know. We advise you of cost before despatching if cost exceeds £10. Sample shipping cost for a standard T-Shirt and key-ring to the US: £8.95. For models we recommend the use of a courier with full insurance.We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days. |
Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 business days . International orders are generally received in under 5 to 10 days. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. |
